Replacement Brake Rotors
I'm looking for recommendations on replacement brake rotors. The stock rotors have warped, and I'm thinking about replacing with drilled or drilled and slotted. I live on a mountain, and although we are good about downshifting when going down the mountain, this vehicle is so heavy, the rotors have warped.
I've replaced the front rotors on my Audi Allroad with drilled and slotted rotors and have been very happy with them.
Any recommendations/experience would be appreciated.

If you're looking for inexpensive option, Centric rotors would be great for you, but they are standard. For the slotted and drilled rotors you can check EBC, DBA or Hawk. Click here to see all brake rotors available for your model: http://www.carid.com/2011-lexus-gx-p...-brake-rotors/

Check for brake pad material on the rotors. Rotors RARELY ever warp. Usually the problem is the brakes got hot and some of the brake pad material got deposited on the back side.
Take the rotor off and clean them with sandpaper. Bet it will fix the problem.

Nope, they don't. Measure the runout. They RARELY warp. VERY RARE.
Clean up the pad material first. Once my 2 friends (one works for Lexus and one GM) told me what it really was, the issues are gone with a sandpaper cleanup.
