squeaking creaking sounds from front driver side suspension, sway bushing?
Hi,
Did a search and found some discussions about the bushing on the front sway stabilizer bar. It looks fine and doesn't seem to allow movement so I'm thinking it's not that. What could be the next most likely source of metallic noise. It happens when the suspension compresses even just a little. No bushings look bad but I wonder if there are bushings for the A arm if that's what it's called. Maybe the main suspension part that connect to the wheel that only rotates up and down?
I think it's call the front upper or lower control arm. I see that there are bushings there also
Forgot to ask. To test the sway bar bushings someone said to disconnect it and see. Where do I disconnect it? I see a couple connections so it must be the first **** tie rod end looking thing ish. I can't see from the outside but there must be a nut on the inside to disconnect it from.

Ok thanks. If I disconnect the sway bar end links then and I don't hear the squeak then it must be the sway bar or the end links right? Then I can check both. The sway bar bushings looked fine but maybe they are super dry or something. It sounds more metallic of a squeak. I'll try that, thank you

I disconnected the sway bar links and it still make the squeak so figured it must be upper or lower control arms. I read a post about someone using PB blaster so I bought something similar. I sprayed the upper control arm bushings/connection and that did it. I should have done that to begin with part by part. This is the next day and still fine so hopefully it penetrates the squeaky part and stays for a while. I didn't see any play so I don't think it needs control arm bushings. If anyone reads this in the future I used Proline spray which says eliminates squeaks. I got it at Pepboys for $4.29. I could have probably used WD40 just to test but I think it might be hard on rubber and Proline specifically says safe for plastics and rubber.
