Wondering about the years to do LS400 BBK on Sc400???

Default Wondering about the years to do LS400 BBK on Sc400???

So I have a 92 sc400 and I want to do the LS400 BBK on it. I have searched but got inconsistent answer my question is well 93-94 break rotor fit or just the 95-00?? If someone could help me on this please

Pre-'95 LS400 had the same calipers as SC400s, which should tell you that '93-94 rotors won't fit the '95+ LS calipers.

Exactly! You will need 95+ rotors. Here's mine

Looks great FSUsucks1!!! Can't wait to have mine done. How do they feel in comparison to the stock sc400 ones???

They are a huge improvement over stock SC brakes for sure...grab nicely! It is one of the best upgrades to do on an SC.. I am still in the process of breaking my brakes in and haven't pushed them hard yet but look forward to putting them to a better test. I've only driven my car about 40 miles since having all of the work completed on the car.

95+ ls400 calipers and 95+ rotors....Here is my setup





I had a set of pre 95 rotors sent to me the first time....they will not work....they are smaller than 95+

See how the hub doesnt sit tight against the caliper....



Also see how it is to small for caliper and pads...

Nice zet up guys are those street cars or track cars Id be concerned with longevity.

Just to update this. I did the brake upgrade the only problem I have are my wheels I have xxr 531 and even with spacers I can't ran these without extended wheel studs
