Default need confirmation for is250 brake conversion please

Hi everyone,

I am looking to upgrade my 2012 AWD IS250 to is350's

I looked around on the thread below and just wanted to confirm that these part #'s are the correct one for my awd 2012

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...ig-failed.html

43512-30350 - 09-13 USA-spec RWD, 11-13 AWD (RH, replaces 43512-30340)
43516-30040 - 09-13 USA-spec RWD, 11-13 AWD (LH, replaces 43516-30030)

I would be purchasing the bolded ones correcT?

Also can anyone guide me where to get is350 calipers please?

any info would be greatly appreciated

i ordered my calipers from Amazon, after a lot of research they're the cheapest.

Those part numbers that you indicated in bold are the ones that I used for my upgrade.

I got my IS 350 calipers as a set from eBay which had 80k on them (which came off of a 2009 IS 350). The (pistons) initially looked rough on the outside so I took the time to buy a caliper rebuild kit from Sewell (back when they were still selling online) and inspected my pistons as a suggestion from my friend. After seeing that the pistons were in good shape on the sealing surface, I completed the rebuild of the calipers and subsequently installed them. They work great as if it never skipped a beat.

A note if you have to rebuild them, which is recommended if buying used, is to buy only one rebuild kit. The rebuild kit will cover both calipers, which I didn't know when I ordered at the time, but Sewell was kind enough to take the extra kit back and refund me the difference.

Year won't matter for the caliper.

43512-30350 and 43516-30040 are the newest numbers, but either should work fine for an AWD.
