Question IS300 wheels/Supra brakes

I know this is a pretty specific question, but does anyone know if the offset of the IS300 wheels is enough to clear Supra TT calipers?

Thanks

The answer is NO WAY.

The problem is NOT offset.

You're saying there is no way the wheels themselves will clear the brakes? What about using spacers?

Okay....let me make it abundantly clear so that you don't ask about SHAVING the calipers after I tell you don't try it.

Wheel is 50mm offset with just 5mm clearance of stock brakes. The supra brakes require ~31MM more than stock. If you did get 25mm spacers, and them shimmed it another 8mm you could do it. However, then you have wheels that stick out of the fender and would look great with WHITE WALLS. Don't even think about cornering or drag racing that setup either....you will be riding on your rotors.

CLANK!! No workie!!

I still find it odd that people will upgrade to Supra brakes, but will only spend $400 on some IS300 takeoffs... the 17x7 is very narrow, and the OE 215/45-17 is too short for most other Lexus cars- I assume you're doing all this to an SC?

You'll need to coin-up for some proper wheels...

I had different intensions for them, but didn't realize the wheel face was significantly different, and wouldn't clear the brakes easily. Guess I'll stick w/ the TT wheels for now.
