Hello, this is my first post so please take it easy on me if I make any mistakes on etiquette.
I have a 2007 Lexus IS 250 that needs its brake pads replaced. However, when I took it into my local tire store for an inspection, they said that I had aftermarket Advics calipers. My question is, what pads do I need for these calipers on this car? The shop I went to had never seen the brand (which seemed a little odd to me) and apparently has no idea where to order the pads from, so I'm trying to do my own research to avoid getting screwed.
I only found a few variations of Advics brake pads for sale on APW and Amazon, so I'm wondering if these pads are one-size-fits-all or if there are special variations for certain makes/models (specifically my IS, obviously).
Stupid question, probably an easy answer, but I just want to make sure. Thanks in advance.
