Default Lowering GS300

Hi all,

I've got a GS300 with 17" wheels and 235/45/R17 tires. Right now I think the car is a little bit to high. I want to lower it a bit, but not that much. I did a lot of research and people are very satisfied with their Tanabe DF210 springs. Those people do have bigger wheels (18" or 19") so the drop with DF210's look very good for them. I think the DF210's will drop my car too much, I've seen some pics and I think it's a little bit too low. We've got high speed bumps here, I want to pass them without hitting them . NF210's might be a better option since they drop less then the DF210's. I took a picture of the side of my Lexus and asked a friend to photoshop it with a drop of 25mm. Does anyone know if the NF210 drop will look like the photoshopped picture? Or maybe you guys know other springs?

By the way the wheels have to be restyled, so they might come out looking a little bit bigger then they are on the picture. They don't look too small in my opinion with this drop.

Thanks a lot for the help!

if you search there is a million threads on the two different ones you have listed. Id personally save up entirely and just buy a good set of coils. Alot of people recommended to me when i got my gs300 to not waste my time. If you do end up doing with the df210s I highly suggest getting shocks and springs. The main complain was the ride quality once you put springs on will never feel like factory ride again unless coils imo. Btw the photoshopped pic does look remotely close to a df210 drop. If you dont care and you just want to lower the car for cheap go ahead..

Thanks for your reply! I've read and heard that the DF210 springs + stock Lexus shocks drive a bit worse than the stock Lexus, while NF210 springs + stock Lexus shocks drive almost like the factory Lexus. Will the NF210 springs be a lot higher than the DF210 springs? Or will it look like the photoshopped picture? I guess the picture isn't a drop of 25mm then...
