Makes sense. The car doesn't really fall on it's face though, but true that it's probably not really making much boost initially with me just free rev-ing it. I just need to run one wire for the two-step, just never got around to it yet. I doubt I'll do any sort of anti-lag, but just a two step at like 4500-5000rpm should help me build a little boost.

I was actually also taking a look at the MT ET Street radials in 295/45/17. Maybe once I wear out these NT05R's I can give those a shot. Slightly wider, slightly taller, and I've heard the MT's are stickier.

BTW - Just noticed your sig. You're the kind of person I've been looking for! Someone with this platform that actually cares about power and making passes. Good power and times man! You're trapping the same as my last car trapped, which basically is my goal with this car. Which Megan suspension you have? I was looking hard at the HR setup since it seems like much softer / street friendly spring rates than anything else, but they appear to only be available from Europe now which kind of sucks. You're Megan's have to be a much stiffer setup than my current OEM Supra spring / bilstein setup.

Hmm... I'm not familiar with Bilstein, but the Megans are much softer than what I ran before - namely, stock shocks and Eibach springs.

Never heard of Bilstein? They're probably one of the highest regarded OEM manufacturer of shocks/struts. What most people who care about suspension performance run if wanting to stick with an OEM type suspension setup (i.e. not run coilovers). So my suspension you can basically consider to be a stock Supra suspension, just with shocks struts that are of high quality and better than factory.

You say your Megan's are softer than you stock supra suspension was? What Megan setup do you have? The softest Megan setup I can find for our cars is the EZ Street setup with spring rates of 8kg/12kg (450lb/670lb).

Compared to the HR's I was initially looking at which are 286/515
Compared to the Gixxer-Drew setup (basically same as HR) which he also recommends 250/500
Compared to OEM Supra which is supposed to be something like 219/430

Seems numbers alone would make you think even the softest Megan's will be significantly more stiff.
