Default Car brakes by itself

The title says it all.

Recently I have noticed that when I am going under 10 mph and hit the brakes slightly, they will continue to depress on their own and will bring me to a complete stop if I don't hit the gas.

Very strange. This has been only a slight nuisance as it only happens once in a while... but it definitely gets my attention.

This is a well taken care of 2005 GS300.

Any ideas of what could be wrong would be appreciated.

I also recently experienced the old "VSC, ABS, VSC Off" lights lit up on the dash. That seemed to only last while we had some serious rain and then it went away (thought maybe rain shorted a sensor).

Maybe my ABS system (booster) etc is in need of some help?

Sounds like a sticking caliper or an ABS problem.

Is there any correlation between when the braking happens and the lights on the dash come on?

No correlation.

The lights only came on for a few hours this past weekend and then went away. That was the only time they have ever come on like that.

The braking has been happening here and there (not really all that often) for the past 2 or 3 months.
