brake pad pros and cons

brake pad pros and cons
ok there are a million threads on here about brakes and I've read about 30 of them but I haven't gotten a true comparison of products yet. I have learned that I want to stick with the blank rotors for my driving style but I have not found a definitive answer for the pads. Many say the Akebono are the way to go but when I look up product reviews I see a 2 out of 5 star rating for stopping power. What I want to know is what are the top 3 brake pads for this car for the occasional "spirited" driving. What are the pros and cons of each (stopping power, noise, dust, etc.). Some of the brands that keep coming up are: Akebono, Hawk, Brembo, Centric, Stoptech, EBC and so many more.

IS350 or IS250?
Here's my experience with "street" pads :
1) OEM high friction - loved them, but hated the dust. Stopping power on point with the Akebone ceramics.
2) StopTech Streets - okay for street use...obviously; however, it lacked the serious stopping power one like myself likes to see in some rare occasions when a quick braking is necessary.
3) Akebone ceramic - low dust for sure, and ample stopping power for street and light-track duty.
4) Have a set of EBC "yellows" to install, but just haven't had the need...yet.
I don't recall ever seeing Hawk make FRONT pads for the IS350; perhaps they're available for the IS250 though...I've never had to look. Centric is good for the rotors, but might as well look else where for the pads. Read of only ONE member having ever used the Brembo pads; had good things to say about them.
