Upgrading from Megan EZ. Advice?
hi CL!
ive been having a set of Megan EZ's for a few months now, but now i'm thinking to uggrade to something stiffer to reduce suspension traveling over bumps, dips, etc. I wanted to get the Megan LP's but heard that Megan has now recently changed their coil line ups and LP's are no longer available.
In your opinion what would be the next logical upgrade coil to get? I'm considering BC as well but they are kind of expensive..
any insight appreciated.
thanks!

What would be your budget for this upgrade so we can help you get the most bang for your buck in your price range.
Personally, I have BCR coils and love them! Just wish I'd gone more aggressive with the spring rates. My 12k/8k setup is perfect for a comfortable DD setup; however, a 14k/10k probably would suit me much better.
Sidenote, I've currently got near 60k miles on my BCRs without a single issue!

thanks for your feedback!
BCR is nice but is a little out of my budget i daily my car and do nothing crazy. I'm afraid i won't need something as nice as BCR that's why i was considering the megan LP's but i think they are no longer available..?
how many miles can we typically put on these coils before needing to replace them? i don't track or anything, just cruising to work, etc

Exact same setup and i feel the same way!
But for OP, went with BCR, no complaints.
From personal experience, i blew my Megans on my RSX-S so I never bought Megans agan.
In the grand scheme of things, the 200 dollar difference goes a long way

So, after a week of trying to work out issues, I'm honestly too scared to continue with this. My car was MINT about a week ago and while it still is a gem, to make this work will counter that. I still want to get off of these stock wheels and blizzaks, but i don't think that's going to happen with the style 95s. Here's how she currently sits in resting mode lol

BCs are rebuildable, and you can probably find some used and within your budget. I know theres some on the ISFreaks FB group. Theres also a member here who has the tein street advance. ( think thats the name) He seems to really enjoy them.
