Default Bc installed.. Rubbing?

Currently getting my Bc Coilover installed and dropped the front to the point where there is no more gap. However my installer says the car will very likely rub. Is this a bad thing? And is there a fix for it without going higher or rolling my fenders?

I have an 06 IS350 RWD sport on stock 18's

you will be rubbing on fender liner eventually it will rub through just raise it a tad to avoid that or use a heat gun and re-shape the fender liner. no need to roll fenders on stocks unless you are maxed out which at that point will require removing the bumper tab.

Rubbing will depend on the tires. Have you measured your fender-to-ground clearance yet? At 24" on factory 18s with a 225/40/18 tire spec, I rubbed in three places in the front liners. However, I ended up raising the car up to 24.5" all-around and pretty much rubbed through on one place up in the front of the liner so that soon it no longer rubbed at all.

Bottom line, don't worry about it.

UPDATE: Happy to report that my car does not rub. I had it adjusted to have a 2 finger gap up front and no gap with a little tire tuck in the rear

Yeah, at that height you'll not have rubbing issues. Measure your fender-to-ground spec would get the chance. Highest point of the arch in the fender (middle) down to the ground.

I'd benefit from pictures here too.
