Default Brake Master Cylinder Chronicles for my 99 GS400

Sure, I can buy a new car, use it until it needs major replacements and buy another one however, I like my GS400. I put some love, sweat and tears into this mf.

So I've already purchased a 2002 SC430 BMC from ebay and totally got scammed.

2002 SC430 BMC

I told the seller, jwparts4you, imma toss this junk cause it doesn't work. He insists its policy where he can't issue a refund without a returned product. By then I already purchased a 2005 SC430 BMC and was fed up with his lies. Sent it back and a week later, he messaged me with photos attached mentioning he couldn't issue a refund when the item is damaged. Photos display the BMC reservoir all cracked. What a coincidence. Now he gets his money for a piece of **** BMC and I wasted my time installing it and money on brake fluid.

Note: Take photos before shipment of the product, the box and claim insurance.

I went ahead and installed the new (used) 2005 BMC from an SC430. Switched out the brake fluid sensors using a 30mm deep socket - REALLY DEEP socket. You really need a DEEP socket to unscrew this one; Bled the brakes and started the car.

VSC/ABS lights were on. I reset those lights by opening the hood, opening up the 'DIAGNOSIS' case and jumped the TC & E1 nodes according to the illustration under the DIAGNOSIS cover by using a paper clip; Turned on the car, pumped the brakes, saw flashing lights, turned the car off, removed the jump and turned the car back on. Boom. Lights gone.

Drove around hoping that damn fcking noise would just dissipate but no; 0 for 2 on EBay dude. I plan on driving my car a little more tomorrow and see if it works out. I have my doubts tho.

I hate these master cylinder/abs actuators on these cars, very problematic. That's what happens when you try and squeeze the master cylinder, brake booster, ABS pump, ABS modulator in one piece. They should have made them separately.
