Question Most Comfortable Suspension Setup?

This is one of those questions that I'm surprised hasn't been covered yet, especially on such a luxurious car. I'm sure there will be plenty of people in the future wondering this same thing.

I'm using my GS as a daily driver (as I'm sure alot of us are), so I want to do my best to preserve that floaty feeling with the stock suspension. I want to know what everyone thinks is the best combination of parts to preserve that, while still giving the car sportier handling.

I'm already planning on getting every available chassis brace from Ultra Racing (there are quite a few), and dropping it on some RCAs so I can do the LS brake swap. But what else do you recommend? Sway bars? Stiffer shocks? Please post your opinions down below, I'd appreciate it!

Hmm, a very good question. My two-cents. The stock set-up is likely as good as it gets. Stiffening the chassis will, in theory, transmit more NVH to you the driver. So where you stiffen one thing you can soften somewhere else. That leaves bushings, shocks and tires. Any car this old will benefit a lot from new OEM bushings. I don't know much about coil-overs etc. but my thought is an air-bag set up? I'm sure there's experts here to provide real-world experience. Tires, a taller sidewall soaks up a surprising amount of harshness. When I switch from summer to winter tire set-up it's like a different car. A high-quality touring tire might be the way to go. As for sportiness, bigger stabilizer bars and poly steering rack bushing should give you the sporty feel you want. Again, a real interesting question.

Coilovers offer a pretty nice ride if you have a softer spring and have the dampers set on the softer side.

But in all honesty, you will be hard pressed to improve the stock suspension ride quality (assuming all your bushings and dampers are up to date).

Our cars have one of the plushest stock rides I've ever felt.

I have tein comfort sports with factory 17s. They're so soft that I keep them on full hard 24/7. I'd imagine on full soft that they're even cushier than stock.
