Grinding noise when braking after ls400 bbk

My pair of Wagner Thermos QC665 for LS400 appears to have shim kit attached, did you replace them with Lexus's shim kit or put them on top of one another?

Sorry for late reply, I don't get on much. I used Lexus shim kit, the ones that come with wagner are not as good and will make more noise.
