Default IS-F lower ball joint same as IS250 lower ball joint

Hi Lexus Peeps

Just inquiring if these parts are interchangeable, I would assume the IS-F ball joint would be stiffer and more sturdy than the IS250/350 ball joint since the IS-F carries more load and is a performance based car. what do you think and they carry the same part number

Manufacturer: Lexus
Part Number: 4333039625
Part: LOWER BALL JOINT
Part Notes: 2WD

Thanks

Albert

The suspension on the ISx50 and IS F is the same aside from shocks, springs, sway bars and the front lower No.2 control arm bushings. Everything else, including the subframes, control arms, knuckles, ball joints, etc., are the same.

There were some changes made over the years, usually coinciding with the same done on both the Sport Suspension option on the ISx50 and the IS F.

Would it be correct that the lower ball joint on the IS-F would be stiffer or ill it be the same as the ISX50 2nd/3rd Gen?

Did you by chance try to hammer on the side of the ball joint to release it? It often works without a press on other vehicles, or can you get a hammer in there?

I need to do front ball joints on my wife's RX330.

Don't use a hammer, use a large U-Shape ball-joint removal tool. You can rent it for free at AutoZone with a small refundable deposit.

I really don't think a ball-joint can be made 'stiffer', it does not contain any bushing material. It's an all metal part covered in a ball of grease that's retained by the rubber boot.

However, a new ball joint will be stiffer than an old ball-joint.
