Just installed the megan rear bar on my 01 GS300 and it rocks! The car really wants to straighten out while coming out of a turn now. I don't really know how to describe it but i like it, gonna have to get the megan front too probably..

Awesome man! I may end up getting the Megan set. The EMUSA set is putting me off becauae of the 16mm rear thickness...hmm

I don't think it will be very different from stock

Default ISF end links

The car doesn't break loose in the front anymore, and if it does its because I'm at grip limits, so the rear breaks at the same exact time. It's traction (and traction loss) is perfectly balanced between all four corners. When I first got them put on, jumping in the seat didn't rock the car like before, and I knew some sharp turns would be fun. Now I would really not want to take these off or daily drive a car that doesn't feel like this. Preferably the best setup is stiffer springs/lowered/sways which is what I have. Even though coil overs are good at getting real low, sway bars are almost exponentially more effective at roll resistance.

My car was lowered 1" with Eibachs when I bought it, so the sway geometry in the rear will be off. If your car is lowered at all, the end links in the back will push up the bar too much. I bought two shorter ISF links and it's spot on now. They are also the same end links for the 3G ISX00, and I got a used pair on ebay for an OBO of about $40. The muffler shop did have to cut them slightly to fit in the 2G diff cradle. The part that bolts into the rear diff is too wide, so he used a cutter to trim about a 5/8" on each side to fit.
I know this thread is old, but do you have a close up picture of the ISF end links before and after you trimmed it to fit the diff cradle?

For future knowledge of those wondering, the ISF endlinks have a larger thread diameter than the factory GS rear endlinks. This means (in my experience) they will not fit in the holes of our sway bars without drilling them out to make them bigger. Hope this helps someone out

So if we are lowered at all, the aftermarket rear sway bar won't work unless we get different rear sway bar links? Is that correct?

Aftermarket bars with stock links work just fine. The problem is that the stock links are "too long" when lowered so the sway bar is not flat when the car is level which is not as good for its performance.

2000 GS300 going onto some Tein coilovers.

When upgrading the sway bars, what are the go to links for lowered GS'? I'd like to order everything in at once if possible.
