So it turns out one of my rear calipers is sticking and I would like to just replace them as I don't want to invest time into trying to fix it just to fail anyway. In looking for a replacement I sometimes see rear calipers listed as compatible for an is250 and is350. The is250 calipers I found are cheaper and I was curious if there is any real difference between the two cars that would keep calipers from an is250 from working on my is350.

The IS250 and IS350 rear calipers are not the same, you need to get the IS350 calipers. (The IS250 has smaller rotors).

Jeff is correct I purchased 2007 is250 rear caliper to go on mr 2006 is350 the caliper is 1/4 inch narrower will not fit with new pads installed. Seller claims all interchangeable.

Pads are the same on both but caliper is different size. Also 350 has rear vented rotors too.

Vented rotors are also used on IS250C and 2011+ IS250 with Sport Suspension (F-Sport, etc.)
