I have driven another car with spacers on the front and it was not nice to drive. The steering was awefull. This car had no power steerin so that may make it worse.
You are changing the offset by putting on the spacers.
Be carefull dude.

I have *very* small spacers on mine up front because my wheels didn't quite clear. I think they're only 3mm.

I drove the car with the wheels / no spacer before I put my Supra TT brakes on and with them afterward. Not much change in handling, but I think the car is harder to balance / get steering vibration (around 60mph) with the spacers. I would prefer they not be on there.

I have 5mm spacers on front wheels, didn't notice any difference in feel or steering, but I'm not all that picky about it. The spacers are not hub centric and I think this is the cause of a very slight vibe at 70-75. Not bad enough to fix, but not great. I'm thinking of putting 15mm instead because they are hub centric.

Default Spacer

adding a Spacer is similar to adding a stiffer Anti-Roll bar
widened track changes suspension geometry a itsy tiny bit... almost enough to not be noticable

I've had the 5mm/15mm spacers on for over 3 months now, and have had no issues with steering or alignment. The small vibration I mentioned before seems to have been due to something that punctured and stayed in a tire, causing a very slow leak. After this was removed and repaired, no vibration. I think I will move my 15mm spacers to the front and buy 25mm for the back. I may drop back to 245 tires with the 25mm to clear the rear fender (now have 255s on back with about 1/2" clearance). The 25s would add 10 mm and the tires would subtract 5 for a net outside width increase of only 5mm (.2"). I will probably go to wider 18" wheels at some point, like getting a really good deal on a used set, but for now, I like the stock 17s OK. The whole setup felt very secure last week in the mountains, grippy, predictable, no sudden loss of traction. Not the same as the guys with the stiffer equipment, but very OK. I don't see much negative about spacers if they are good quality (H&R) and properly installed (Thanks, Nuum!).
