Default Rubbing after new shock installl .. WHY?

Basically the situation is this ...

02 GS3
13k miles w/ about 10k of it being lowered...
20x8.5 all around w/245-35-20
H&R springs w/stock shocks..

last weekend I had my front driver side shock replaced becuase the original install was done incorrectly and screwed up the threads on the top of the shock... anyways... I replaced it with another OE lexus shock...

now after the install of that new shock, that corner rubs.. where it only rubbed in extreme situations... now it rubs when I go into a dip and freeway incline... I know that alot of lowered cars that are using stock shocks rub .. and yes, this is true, before my setup would rub in extreme situations, but now it rubs alot more often

Also note that I took it back to the shop.. they inspected it and as I did too didnt notice anything incorrect... The only thing I can think of is that its a bad shock...

why would this be happening and is there anything that I could do?

Your camber may be off that caused the rub. I too have 245/35/20 all around, with +38 offset, I do not have any rub under any condition at all.

hey i had the same problem, so instead of buyin stock shocks, i just went a bought a set of l-tuned shocks from Steve Ganz. It was only a lil over $200 for the shocks. And after i put them in, i never rub....
