It all depends on the wheel.

You need the specs off the rim (i.e. offset, etc.). Though a photo is nice.........

A number of people on CL have said that offset doesn't matter. All that matters is the wheels size, shape and backspacing. Offset only determines where the flat part of the wheel sits inside the round part of the wheel. Offset has nothing to do with the amount of room behind the spokes. Low disk and high disk wheels deal with clearance issues behind the spokes for brake upgrades and such.

So again the question is how much bigger are the TT calipers than the stock? How much further do they stick out than the stock calipers?

How much space do you have from the stock rotor to the back of your wheel? I have about 58mm from the edge of my rotor to the back of my wheel and I know the TTs don't fit my wheel. The back of my wheel is relatively flat, maybe a 2-3mm difference. I don't have the exact measurements but I have it on good authority that it won't fit. Although other factors apply (shape of the back of your wheel,, i.e. curve in/out, my GS vs your SC, ...), if you have less than that, then it probably won't fit. To be safe, I would think 65mm would be a good guess. If you are in between, you'll need someone with more info.

I just wanted to give you a rough idea. Don't take these numbers as gospel.

Thanks much for the help. It doesn't sound like the H&R spacers will help on this. I'll order a high disk set up on my next set of wheels.

I reread my post and noticed I typed caliper instead of rotor on one of the statements. The measurement of 58mm is from the rotor to the wheel. Maybe you inferred that.

I am not sure if it changes things but I just wanted to give you a heads up. Sorry about that.

It might change things. I'll have to take some measurements tomorrow. Thanks for clarifying.

Sorry,I forgot the measurement from the rotor out-board for the TT setup, but I checked it out once about a year ago on my car, won't work for me without some different wheels.
Someone on the forum had a dimension.

After the TT calipers I have about 1mm clearance.

The big secret is :

Autozone, (2) loaded refurbished supra calipers = $105.00 +core charge

From there i got some used TT rotors for free, resurfaced them for $40.

Total cost for my supra brakes = $145.00
