Seized caliper? How do I check?
What do I look for when checking for a seized caliper? My brake pedal has a lot of travel in it and I keep reading that this could be the issue.

It's a common occurrence on the rear calipers of these cars. They slide on a bolt and a blind pin to compress and retract, if that pin runs dry and corrodes it seizes up preventing the caliper from moving. If you remove the pads and upper bolt and the caliper won't budge it because the pin is seized. The caliper should be able to slide effortlessly on that lower pin.
I'm not sure that would have much, if any effect on your pedal travel though.

It has a spongy feel to is, usually in the morning when the car is cold or when its cold outside. After driving for a few mins and braking here and there, the pedal starts to act normal. I'm going to get the brakes power bled today or tomorrow and hope that fixes the issue. I just had the master and booster replaced.
