So my upper ball joint were going bad and I was planning on lowering my car around the same time. I bought coilovers and adjustable megan upper control arms. After installing everything, my ball joints are still squeeking. I already check the lower ball joint and that is not where it is coming from. The car is very low but I dont think that is the what is causing the problem. Does anybody else have this issue? Its very annoying driving with it squeeking everywhere. This is my current ride height.
How do you know it's the upper ball joints and not something else? Do you have polyurethane bushings? If it's your Megan arms just have them warrantied..
Probably your lower control arm bushings. Spray some WD-40 on them and see if the squeak eventually goes away. If it does, theres the problem, just swap the bushings
Ive done alot of after market arm installs. Fro. Megan to Tdemand. This is going to sound wacky, but its not the upper ball joint. The 2 bolts that hold the after market upper control arm to your chassis is to Damn tight. And if you used a torque spec sheet that it is extremely tight Lol. There's almost no way to get rid of that squeky sound. When its too tight, you start to squeeze the inner ball joints on the arm which cause metal rubbing. This is what I
do........... I take out the 2 bolts, I put thread lock on them and I don't tighten the so Damn much. I tighten till its snug, then I give it one last half turn. Works fine. I havent had anyone complain. Last time i adjusted my tdemand arms was last year and its been fine since.

Its been a while since ive replied to this thread. I didnas you said, took the two bolts put for the upper control arm, and used loctite with them hand tight. Still squeeking. I also replaced my lower ball joints and outer tierods, and filled the bqalljoints with a grease gun. I also took the boot off the megan upper ball joints and greased those ball joints too. I still have the loud squeeking.

yes I did. The only other part that needs replacement in the front suspension is the caster arm bushings. I contacted megan and will see what they will do about the issue
