Default Big Brake Kit recommendations?

Don't really like the IS250 brakes and I want to see if I can upgrade with a big brake kit but other than Brembo I only know Stoptech and Ksport that have kits compatible with the 3IS. Anybody have any reviews on them or know if any brake kits for the 2IS fits the 3IS? I know theres brakes from Project Mu that fit the 2IS but those are pretty pricey like Brembos. Thanks!

Stoptech is great as they are basically your F Sport BBK.
We sell these all the time and yes the 2IS fits the 3IS.

Send me a PM if you want pricing. We actually have these available in stock.

that's only true for the front brakes to be exactly the same and bolt on interchangable
The rear brakes is a different story and needs a different caliper bracket

Correct.
I assumed he only meant the front as a majority of BBK owners that purchase aftermarket normally only purchase the front.

Couple of suggestions and a caveat

1) Rather than the expense of big brakes, why don't you start with a more aggressive brake pad compound?

2) You might also consider finding a set of used 350 brakes. Will be a lot cheaper than a new BBK

The caveat... there is a good bet you will need to change your OEM wheels to an aftermarket set of wheels with high disk fitment in order to clear the brakes. 350 wheels might clear , but do your research first as new wheels and tires might be a big add to your budget!

Yah as of right now I am not changing out my rims and tires yet but I was looking for a BBK for improved performance and aesthetics to be honest. It looks pretty appealing. If anything I'd want to get my front brakes changed out first.

Unless you track the car, I don't see the point of a BBK. IS350/IS200t brakes should be a great upgrade.
