Question Rear Strut Boots

First let me say, yes, I did do searches, many of them in different combinations, so I hope I can get some information, PLEASE. I just finished puting on new rims and tires on my 95 SC400 and noticed that both rear strut boots were torn. One completely and the other half way. I'm wondering is there and easy repair I can do or do they have to be replaced? I hope the answer some CL experienced member will give is repair, but, I doubt I'll be that lucky. So if it's replace, how difficult is it and any short cut tips you can provide. The rims were 17x8 from a 98 GS400, thin 5 stars. Tires are directional 235/45ZR's. The light silver color brought the red body to life and it looks like a new car compared to the 7 spoke stock rims that were on it. I guess now I have winter and summer tires.

Any help on the boots will make my day.

Thanks.

No quick fix, they have to be changed...which means complete disassembly of the strut/shock assembly. We have em for around 45 bucks if you need some.

Anything over 50,000 miles and you should replace them if you have the suspension apart.
