Aftermarket Springs on Stock Shocks
#2
How many miles do you have? I just put on some h&rs and the tech found that one shock has a small leak and I only have 48K on my 2007. But I don't believe that is common.

I'm at 51k miles and the dealer just informed me two of my shocks are starting to leak. I'm on F-Sport springs, but stock shocks. I got the springs at 8k miles, so that's 43k miles on the stock shocks before any issues. I was warned ahead of time, so not really surprised. Now looking into stock replacement shocks, but don't know where to look yet.

Kyb is a good, affordable option. Tociko is another great option but more pricey. Or you can swap to coilovers. And im sure there is shocks available from your preferred national auto store.

I'm at 52Km and it's a 2006 model being on Tanabe springs only for 43Km. I wonder if it's worth replacing shocks since it's such an old car now. If I do I might as well do coilovers. What is the coilovers with both front and rea camber adjustable?

My car is on F sport springs and stock shocks, I've had it now for just over 20,000km and the big dips and sewers are quite jarring sometimes.. but running a low profile tire doesn't help either.. otherwise my car is still very stable, doesn't feel "bouncy" and my shocks aren't leaking.. I've also been debating on where to go next as far as coil overs or replacement shocks (F sport shocks are getting harder to find as they are discontinued) and using aftermarket shocks has just never seemed right to me.
I know a few people personally and many on this forum that use BC racing coil overs and have decent things to say about them so that is my most probable choice
