Anti Squeal springs?
Anyone have any idea if the anti squeal springs on the brakes serve any real purpose? Obviously the name implies that it helps deter brake squeal. I am wondering if they are crucial for the braking system. We couldn't get them back in after we installed my coilovers. Any input is appreaciated.

not sure why you wouldn't be able to put them back in though they are simple to lose.
i would say try to get it back in... though, i'm sure many people have got their brakes done by shops who lost these and didn't put them back in.
