Question Recommended Brands for Supra TT Rotors

Hello,

Does anyone have any recommended brands for front Supra TT rotors? I will be pairing this with EBC Redstuff.

Also, if anyone knows off the top of their head were there any differences between 93-98 for the rotors? A mechanic just told me from 92-93 they were directional..

Thanks!

For blank rotors I would choose Centric Premium or OEM. For drilled or slotted rotors I would choose Stoptech (or centric equivalent depending on price).

There is also DBA and project mu 2 piece rotors, but I doubt you'll want to spend that much for a street car.

Thanks guys. Do either of know anything about the EBC's rotors? They have a few options. I found the S12 kit which comes with the Redstuff brake pads for $183. I almost went for Centric but wonder if it's better to stick with one brand - plus there's some slight cost savings.

I haven't used EBC or know anyone that used them. Most TT caliper guys run hawk pads. I had some TRD pads will switch to Hawk when they are done. Check directly on Supraforums should have some info there.

I had EBC red pads with my old LS400 setup, and EBC red on my current supra tt setup. The pads dust a lot, but they feel good and they're cheap.

I don't have any first hand experience with their rotors, but I wouldn't be against trying them.

Thanks, guys. Hopefully the Reds dust less than the OEM pads... I'll give the full EBC kit a shot even though I couldn't find anything on Supraforums about the rotors. The pads in general at least get pretty good reviews and for other applications, the RK rotors that come with the kit have decent reviews.

Here's the kit I'll be trying: https://thmotorsports.com/ebc-brakes...i-2270155.aspx
