Looks great Glen! When you get a chance, I'd like to take a test drive to see if the old butt-ometer can tell a difference between different EDFC settings.

Very nice and clean install. I am still deciding where to mount the edfc. I bought the single din head unit mount that has an open tray, and was considering mouning it in that tray and then fiberglassing around it to make it flush. Do you think having it in the dash under the head unit would be a good place for it?

Awesome work bro. That install looks very clean and professional. Good job! I see everyone is going to have some goodies for the Carson meet.

Thanks ALL !

I am still working on one or two more projects before Carson, so I won't be able to respond often.

Fiberglassing is probably not neccessary, unless you want to make some fancy contours. The higher up in the dash you put the EDFC , the better you will be able to keep your eyes on the road.

I think you could probably just make a trim plate out of flat ABS plastic to fill the tray and just cut out a hole for the EDFC.

Good idea RMMGS4. With the right texture on the plastic it would look great. Much easier way to go and would probably end up with the same result. Im just not sure that is a good place for it. Higher up in the dash would be better, but I dont really want to hack apart the dash and I dont want to just screw it down somewhere. I want to give the look that it belongs somewhere and not just thrown in the car. Can other people email me pictures of where they mounted their EDFC so I can get some ideas of other good places for it. thanks

I'm working on a mod right now that will answer this. I'm trying to get it done either late tonight or tomorrow. I'll post a new thread once it's done.

Just sit tight a little longer.

Excellent bro.

very nice that you share such detailed pics. Many would want to keep such a sweet setup for themselves only.

Any chance you want to produce a kit for this?

There's a remote possibility that I could duplicate some of the parts, like the EDFC bezel. I wouldn't call it a kit since it wouldn't be plug and play. You would still need to do some fabrication on your own or by a competent installer, in order to complete the project. .

The pics are free though and I've got a lot of missing steps documented with photos. I will follow up with Ethan about posting my projects in a specific section, like the DIY.
