Need coilover help.
Hi, i have 2008 lexus is350 which i believe was 1 year prior to the introduction of the f sport package, which means my car has no f sport suspension, so my ride is pretty smooth.. I have wheels with ugly gap, and need coils. I think i've Decided on bc racing.
My wheels are 18x9 on 245-40 tire
18x10.5 on 275-35 tire.
Yes as you can guess i rub on hard turns and bottom out on freeway dips.
I am planning on purchasing rear sway bar to help with handling as i drive a bit spirited..
My question is about the stiffness of the rear, i should want to be more stiff to help with bottoming out correct? So what do some of you guys recommend im new to coils so i dont quite understand spring rates yet.. about to dive into google a bit.
Also would it be possible to run like a crazy stiff rear and a not so stiff front? I want to be sporty and y'know not bottom out, handle better but retain some of the comfort of riding in my Lexus by going softer in the fronts. Does this make sense?
