Brake problems
Ok, let's start with I have been a Lexus owner for about 8years, I had in 01 is300, and now I have an 02 gs300 and about 6 months ago I parked my car and heard a noise like two rusty springs with alot of tension on them creaking every time I applied the brakes and it was gone a day later, so I didn't pay any attention to it. But I just replaced all four rotors to cross drilled with ceramic pads. When I took off the front d/s caliper, I noticed the pins were seized up and impossible to get them out. So I put new calipers on front only, the back seem to be good, no uneven pad ware, all piston function fine . I only bled the front brakes because I replaced those calipers. But now I get a intermitting scraping noise on front p/s like the rotor is rubbing dust shield, but it isn't...& When I turn left it scrapes louder but goes back to skipping scrapes when I drive straight again. Also brake fluid goes down just a little bit each day but no visual leeks. It's only going down about an 1/8 " a day. And three days later after new brake install, the scraping is only first mile when driving straight then goes away until I turn left and it all starts over again, but no noise when driving straight ??? I need help, I can't track it down.

I had this same exact problem, scraping noise which I though was coming from the front. It was the rear aftermarket rotors were touching the backing plate for the parking brake. I was able to grind them down a little and the noise went away. I hope this helps you out.
