Will Shocks & Springs Alone Decrease Body Roll?
#5
I started with the L-Tuned shocks and springs and am currently running the Tein Flex. When I swapped them out, I ran the Flex at the softest setting. The car actually feels softer than the L-Tuned. Of course being coilovers, the setting can be adjusted for more dampening. Plus you get the big height adjustability.
If you plan on even a remote possibility of doing more, I'd say save up for the coilovers. On the flip side, Daizen recently announced a new set of springs with a decent drop. Plus, DoubleWhoosh also mentioned limited adjustabe shocks by the end of the year. Since they are not out yet, it is hard to compare.

At any rate, the best approach is to do the springs & shocks FIRST because that will tighten everything up more or less equally. Then if you want to reduce body roll even more go with the swaybars.
I found the shocks & springs made a massive improvement and that's enough for me. But I can see how somebody who really wanted to romp on the car through the twisty roads might want to get stiffer swaybars.

Thanks Neo. Doesn't say where Daizen is though. Before anyone gets the wrong idea (again), I'm NOT trying to disparage Daizen which obviously make great products and is committed to high quality. I'm just trying to find out a little bit about the company.
