Especially uniform steep drop-offs and rail road tracks.

Since I don't have my RSTB installed (still debating trunk space issue ), I could not be sure if your addition of the STB made things better. BUT, like you, once a rear brace went in, the ride became much more predictable. When I had the sways and FLCB in, body roll was pretty much controlled but I did not like how the rear behaved. Once I added the RLCB, all was well again. I later added the 6-link but the ride did not improve as much as with the RLCB addition.
I have read that people adding the 6-link thought it was great. Same with the RLCB. I think any rear addition by itself would really add to the handling. Once one of the two is there, though, the incremental change of adding the other won't be as great.
Congrats again and enjoy.

Threxx, nice write up.
yes, the gas tank needs to be propped up when doing the 6-piece install. If you want pictures as a reference point, manaray posted a great write up as well

I love my Tom's rear LCB and STB - really keeps the back end behaved in more spirited driving.

Tom's rear brace
The brace comes with two 1" x 2" rubber pieces with adhesive on one side. Does anyone know where they go. I could not make it out from the diagrams in the installation sheet and my Japanese is too rusty to understand the written instructions. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

My only guess is that they can be used as spacers in place of washer for the FLCB so that it won't touch the transmission.
