Ok, I won't be purchasing them at least until early next year so I'm looking for suggestions so I can save up enough for 'em.
With my new front bumper (pictures next week
), i've noticed that I hit/come very close to the ground (maybe because my suspension has 100k miles on it?). I need suspension that won't travel as far but won't kill the ride quality (I'll only drop 1/2 inch or maybe 1 inch max for everyday driving). Currently I'm considering the HKS, JIC, and Tein.
Out of those 3 I think the HKS might travel less over moderate bumps but am leaning towards the JIC FLT-A2 because of its price.
or maybe there is a spring/shock combo that would help?

Anyone make coilovers for the SC300 that ride *SOFTER* than stock, yet can adjust fimness? I've heard Tein CS is soft but is it as soft as stock? The Kumho MX has such a stiff sidewall, I'm thinking I need to compromise by softening up the suspension a little.

I've been told the ride on the CS is very reasonable, was considering a set too Scott, but maybe just Poopra NA or TT Eibach/AGX, we know they ride OK and still make a major improvement. Now that you guinea pigged that e-Manage, how 'bout trying some CS action, eh?

Tein HA for the supra TT. I had a set on my car (daily driver) and they were great. I had the car all the way down and stiffness right in the middle. The ride was stiff but not enough to rattle teeth. Plus they are one of the cheap coilovers at $950.

I tried some suspension setups and was happiest with the Tein Flex. I would get these over the HA in a second. BTW I was not that please with the KYB AGX / Eibach combo. Make sure you get coilovers. There is nothing more annoying than spending money on something non-adjustable and then having to buy completely new hardware and pay for labor again and again until the height and dampening are the way you like it.

I don't think the Tein Flex or HA come anywhere near stock softness, though. Right? Wrong? I want something soft enough so that the guy in the back won't spill his Grey Poupon----almost LS400 softness.
