Any estimates on mile life of Akebonos? Looking to replace my stock non-F Sport pads with Akebono Performance pads in the front and ProACT on the rears.

I don’t have an exact mileage life on them, but they last quite a long time. Lol I’m at like 15k miles on the ASPs and they seem like they still have a little more than half their life left.

I have installed ASP 1118 on my car, and, BOY, 0 brake dust and good stopping power at city/highway conditions. OEM Semi-metallic ones bite more but they produce a lot of brake dust and they chew the rotors. Performance Akebono for Racing oriented PPL

You described them perfectly. A little less bite than F Sport pads but way less dust and they last WAY longer and don’t destroy the rotors in no time.

ASP is more performance oriented versus the ACT are all about minimal break dust and longevity so they don’t bite as hard. The ASP don’t bite as hard as the F Sport OEM either but they difference isn’t too too noticeable. Yes they will fit your 2018 F Sport as long as you have the 4 piston brake calipers on the front.

I've been using Akebono pads on my ASPEC TL (with Brembo setup) and am quite happy with it. Low dust and stops as it should.
