Default Rear brake retainer clip question

Hi just question for you guys who did your rear brake pads change on IS350, my question is when you reinstall the spring retainer clip do you installed on the top pin or the bottom pin? The pins is hold the pads in place, I watched on YouTube i see some installer put that spring retainer on the bottom pin and some on top pin, I forgot the way my brake installed thanks guys

I've installed top and bottom. It makes no difference in the way the brakes retract. Since the Piston is pretty much dead on center on the caliper.

I'd just stick to one. I'm sure Toyota would've put two if it was necessary.

One clip is used for both holes. If you have an extra, I'd advise you set it aside. I lost one a couple months ago and had to buy the whole "brake repair kit" or wait a week to special order a single clip.
