LBJ Brand?
Greetings CL! I just recently got back into a 2GS and have been working on it as time allows. A few years ago, I used Moog for all of my suspension components and had no complaints. Recently, I replaced my LBJ’s, tie rod ends, etc with Moog parts. Shortly after the install, my driver’s side developed a bad popping/creaking. I thought it was my caster bushing so I bought a poly bushing kit and proceeded to replace all the bushings on the car. The noise persisted so I inspected everything, torqued everything per the FSM but still had the noise. I got so fed up so I went to the local auto parts store and purchased a Master Pro LBJ and it has been problem/noise free since. Today, my passenger side started creaking while turning and now I fear the Moog LBJ is already on its way out. All the Moog compnents probably have less than 100 miles on them so I’m wondering if the quality has gone down that much? If it matters, my Moog LBJ’s both said made in Indonesia. I thought maybe my driver’s side was just a dud, now I’m doubting the quality of their ball joints all together.
What is everyone’s go to brand these days for LBJ’s?

Guys, thanks for the responses! I’ll look on eBay for a deal on OEM ones and just keep them on hand. And lexo98, yep, I did grease them right after I installed them then again once the noise presented itself. Even greased to the point of having grease come out of that little overfill hole to no avail.
