How many coils on H&R IS250 springs
I just bought a lowered IS250 and I did a VIN check and found that the last dealer to service the car decided to wholesale it b/c the springs were "cut". My car is extremely low in the front, lower than rear, so I was wondering in anyone knows how many coils are on the H&R springs? I want to count the coil on the car and compare to a car with H&R to see if the springs were really cut to make it even lower than the H&R. The car rides fine, but b/c of the rake, I cannot get the headlights adjusted high enough and it makes night driving a pain.

Do you think you have H&Rs and they were cut? What color are your springs? Are you rwd or awd? They have a part number on there as well. I can’t get pics to upload for some reason. But there are 7 coils that are progressively spaced. And should be a light purple depending on the year they were manufactured.

Definitely the PN for the H&R springs. Dealer may have just meant modified suspension. Can you post a pic?

So, my main reason for posting was b/c I was having trouble with adjusting the aim of the headlights, and I assumed it was ALL due to the H&R suspension. I had a car many moons ago with cut springs, and I had one with H&R springs. The car rides like the springs are stock, it's just really low in the front, and the rake is such that the lights point directly on the ground in front of the car. Open further research, I found that there were two sensors in the drivers front and rear suspension that also affected the aim of the headlight. I was able to adjust the sensor in the driver's rear suspension, and I've gotten the headlights to aim much higher than I could before I adjusted the sensor. At the point, the springs are less of a concern. I plan to go full coilovers in the nears future, so the H&R and not a big issue at this point.

I coil per corner.
You mean how many turns?
It too can vary depending on what the rate and finished height is mean to be.
Quote how many turns are on yours and what part number is stamped on them.
