Well,after removing and inspecting my plastic bushes that I'd made last year,I found them to be in great shape,inner sleeve still very snug inside the bushings;the fact that the control arm casting was a bit thicker on one side had be thinking that the bushings were the culprit.This setup has served me well before, on much lighter cars.
It is the BALL JOINTS this time around,and besides trying a set from a MKIII Supra on a hunch,I don'r really know what else to try,since there aren't any dimensional guides available like there are with control arm bushings.I was hoping to only have to spend fifty bucks on a set of rubber bushes,oh well.
I think Toyota was trying to make a Lincoln out of a Supra when they made this car,the rear,lower,original rubber bushes are the lightest I've seen besides on 4 cylinder tranny mounts.

Hi Guys,
An update. I received my Vlamos and in a whopping 2 weeks door-to-door (Brisbane, Australia to Edmonton, Canada)!

The workmanship is excellent and even more so considering the difficult molded design. I also got Andrew to include a pair of the driver side steering rack bushes so these will also be replaced.

Installation is the next phase so I'll update you on "Level of Difficulty" when I get some shop time booked.

I decided not to post here in CL, but i just cant help myself. Recently I received a set of Daizen Bushings and I will be recieving a set from Vlamos. One of my good friend ACleanSC4 has a 92 SC400 with Daizen right now and I will personally refund the labor cost to install the Vlamos Bushings in his car and have him write a complete unbiase, objective writeup. This is a truely comparing an apple with an apple. Its hard to compare both bushings if you only experience one. Lets wait for ACleanSC article and have him tell us how the two feels.

Side Note: altstadt stop advertising, u will get kick out from CL..... and at the same time, I might get banned for stating this post.... but i am willing to take that chance. If I am banned for my knowledge and contribution to the Lexus Community then its something wrong within the management of this forum. Good luck to all.

How the **** did I miss this one ?

I tried urethane bushes in my TT lower arms (made by Whiteline IIRC) they where a PIA, fine for a few weeks followed by creaks and groans as the lube dried out and the ride was noticably harsh.

Soon after this Andrew Vlamos sent me a set of lower arm bushes made to the Toyota pattern and I ripped out the urethane ones, the difference was incredible, the front suspension suddenly became compliant, soaking up the bumps and potholes with incredible ease and no noise (road bump/thump kind of noise was eliminated).

Since then I have replaced ALL the suspension bushes on my V8 with Vlamos ones and it rides like a new Lexus should, smooth and silent.

I recently installed new Supra TT LCAs. Took about 7-8 hrs because shift linkages were corroded and had to be cut and replaced and two of the lower bolts were seized
