IS350 front brake noise when turning

Default IS350 front brake noise when turning

I just did a IS250 brake conversion. I originally wanted to use the stock brake dust shield but decided not to mod and remove completely. When I do a left turn over 1/4 of the wheel it sounds like something is rubbing/grinding. Any ideas? Brake line? Bad caliper? Thanks!

And here I thought I was the only one D:

Yeah I have been noticing a grinding noise sometimes when turning left. Have no idea what is causing the issue though.

I should add, running stock IS350 F Sport brakes.

No conversion, purchased a 2014 CPO.

Maybe it's rubbing the brake shield? I currently don't have one and it rubs/grinds when turning left!

Still can't figure it out. Won't make the noise when the car is on jack stands!

I've done the conversion, but I installed the 350 backing plates.
Assuming yours is RWD, when you said you removed it, did you take out the hub assembly and take the backing plate out, or did you cut it close to the hub assembly?
When you took the 250 caliper bracket off, did both the washers come off with it?

My friend removed the backing plate completely. Not sure about the washers coming off. I'm guessing it's suppose to?

Weird, it still makes noise on hard turns but not a bad. hmm
