Default Brakes shakes when slowing down from high speeds

Hey:
I just had my rear rotors and pads done about 200 miles ago and now I feel shaking in the steering wheel and brake pedal when slowing down from high speeds.

The mechanic said the front pads had 50% life left.

I think the front rotors and pads need to be changed.

What do you think?

Thanks

sounds like warped front rotors. replace them and get new pads

Are you saying that BEFORE the rear brakes were replaced, that you didn't have this problem?

First off, any time I get new braking components (pads/rotors/calipers), I always re-bed in the components by using the below procedure. After trying this, please report back and see if the problem still persists.

I tried to re-bed them and still the same issue.

I also tried to change the rotors and pads but can not get the top caliper bolt off. I used WD-40 and a breaker bar but I felt like it was going to strip the bolt.

Any ideas?

Thanks

^Well, you're kinda hinting at the root of the issue; it seems to be a seized caliper. That coupled with new pads/rotors can cause alot of issues. I had to replace both of my rear calipers after a new pad / rotor change. The caliper wouldn't fully release from the rotor surface and caused EXCESSIVE heat and smoke.
