you seem to high to worry about that. i dont think it's possible to RIDE on bumpstops. when i had mine at the lowest setting and hit a good sized dip or bump in the road..... i'd hit mine. it's more noise than a bounce feeling. you will 100% know when it happens. you seem fine though.

I love the look of the car, but I probably will bring up the car about 1/4 inch.. so I am definitaly on the safe side... and it will still look great...

hitting the bump stops is no big deal - its hitting the fender well at 90MPH that you need to worry about. Your tire will literally lock up at 90MPH...OUCH!

you know.. about the rubbing issue... there is a part of the freeway near my house where I would always rub the inside lip of my fender.. and thats when I was higher...

now, last night I went over that part of the freeway at about 80mph, and NO RUB!!!! YA!!!!!

then again, I have not aligned the car yet, after the lowering... (yes yes I know), but I have been waiting for the entire suspension to settle after the install..

I think with the 1/4" raise and the alignment, I still think it will be good... comments/?

I don't mean to bump a old thread but this review is great! I just ordered the same ones for my GS400.

Wondering if $850 was too much for them though?

I have not looked into these so I can't say. BUT considering SpdRcr0 was selling his used ones for 1100 or obo tells you that you at least got a pretty good deal.

Seems like a good price, like the other person says, the fact that Spdrcr is selling his used ones for 250 bucks more means he probably paid alot more than that! (Or he's trying to put his kids through college via CL.......J/K )

I was doing some coilover research the other day and came across a thread that rated these pretty well. Dont bet your kids on it, but I THINK Manaray had good things to say, and then other member chimed in! Do a search for it and just take a few minutes clicking and reading, you may find the thread I'm talking about.

Where did you order them from for that low price??

I got them from Area51 here in Nor. Cal. Its know a guy that works there. They wanted to know if anyone else is interested. $800 plus shipping and handling is the price for my 'GS friends'. He was also trying to sell me Apexi WS full exhaust for $474 plus tax.... lol... I am utilizing the rest of my budget for wheels though. If you guys are seriously interested, E-mail him up at AWD18T@aol.com or AIM him. Tell him you are Byron's iBuddy.

Cruz,

Thats a good price for both, because Intense power lists the WS exhaust at 640 on sale!! I would like get these now, but I've got other things brewing in the pot! Will he still honor this type of pricing in Jan/Feb??

I'm not sure if he will. Send him a instant message or e-mail. I'm sure he will reply to you. I was just checking google for pricing and g** damn this is a good deal. LOL... good thing I passed by their shop on my lunch break.

Nahh, don't be too worried. Judging from the pics you are nowhere near as low as where I set my HKS at and I haven't bottom out yet.
