Default Wanted: stiffer springs but not really lowering ones

Recently had my car full of 5 adults. 4 H.S. age boys and me and have Koni Sport Yellow's in rear (adjusted to med-stiff, and STOCK springs all round) and at fairly small dips/bumps the car was pretty much rubbing the rear tires, and even have the rear fender rolled up.
Does anyone know what the 'stock' spring rate is for a '02 IS300 4dr?
I really don't want to lower more than an inch, but i DO want it a LOT stiffer than what it is now.
BTW, car is 3500# with only me, tank of gas in it.

Memphis area ISN'T known for excellent drivers and or well maintained roadways. So I don't want to be beating the car up. (I don't mind a good stiff suspension, but don't need 'full race')

I've read Eibachs and H&R sites but they seem to lower more than what I'd like.
I'd also like to have a staggered wheels at a later date, like 17's in front and 18's rear to get a little more dia to help the rear gear, since I mostly drive highway.

Does anyone make/sell springs that can do this?
I'd really not want progressives, since they pretty much stay at coil bind for the first 1/3rd, THEN start being stiff.

Thanks for any GOOD input.

Coilovers you can pick whatever spring rate (can change anytime) and adjust ride height to what you want (when you go to your staggered setup)

Had 'coil-overs' on Hondas since the early 80's.. NOT the best ride that I can remember.

I've always had a better ride and component reliability with a quality shock/strut and heavy(er) spring.
(although, when I was doing this back in the 80's, you had to swap springs from another model/car -mostly used- OR
pay outrages prices for springs that were RACE ONLY and would sag after a year or so, and ALL you're bushings would need replacing)

I'm scratching on 60yrs old and don't need to be beat up, killing the pleasure of 'spirited' driving.
