Default tire getting chewed up

on my 02 gs i bought 245/40/18 tires and the rims are 18in with +10 offset. they are getting ripped everytime i hit a small imperfection in the road. My left tire the one im having this problem with has a bunch scrapped on the top and a good strip off the side. any ideas on what i can do to stop this, rolling fender, etc.

We need to know more information first. How wide are the wheels? Are you lowered and if so how much?

The best thing to do would be get wheels with the proper offset to fit the wheel wells. If you are determined to run a +10 in the front, you need more of a stretch than a 245/40 I would think.

They are a 9.5 and I am lowered on tein coilovers, been having a problem with the rear left being lower than the other sides. There is only a one finger gap definitely need to raise it again.
