Default Control Arm Bushings - Problem and Solution

On 8/20 I ordered a bunch of parts from TM Enginerring, Ebay and Rockauto. The Rockauto and Ebay parts came within a week, but TM showed as still processing. I had ordered the Daizen bushings from them. I tried to email and call with no success for a few days. I was frustrated that they hadn't shipped, so I filed a claim with Paypal with a note saying "I do want these parts, please ship" and almost immediately got a refund from them. I searched this forum and someone suggested ordering through the Amazon store, so I tried that. A week later the item still hadn't shipped, so I filed a claim with Amazon and was refunded. I did some more research today and settled on ordering Superpro parts. I was able to piece together the caster arm bushings, lower control arm bushings, and steering rack bushings for $185. I had a tough time finding the info on which direction to go in instead of Daizen, so I thought I would share my experience. The only part I'm missing that comes in the Daizen kit is the upper control arm bushings, which I don't need anyway as I ordered new upper arms. I ordered through suspension.com

Part Numbers:

Details Name Unit Price Quantity Total

spf4084k Front Strut Arm Bushings $89.62 1 $89.62

spf4087k Front Steering Rack and Pinion Mount Bushings $45.13 1 $45.13

spf4186k Front Lower Control Arm Bushings $50.96 1 $50.96

Sub Total:$185.71

Grand Total:$185.71

☝🏽 Figs is the way to go. Lots of good info on this site that would have saved you some time.

Yes, Figs Engineering is one of a few U.S. suppliers of SuperPro bushings.

OP you will be very happy with SuperPro, did you source them in AUS or here in the US?

Funny you should mention this TM Engineering and slow shipping. It took two weeks for my Daizen parts to arrive after ordering them on Amazon.

I sourced them in the US. Ordered them on a Friday and they were here on Monday. The steering rack and lower control arm bushings were about the same price as Figs, but the Caster arm bushing was about half price ordering this way.

I probably should have waited it out, but the total lack of communication drove me nuts.
