I'm going to resurrect this thread, as it's the only one that came up for 3IS when I searched for the rear brake rotor PN (42431-30310).

Stupidly, I just ordered a total brake refurb package that I put together at Lexus Parts Now and forgot to get a second rear rotor. I can't find any markings on it, but I believe it's Advics. Can anyone chime in if they know? I need a second one and I want to search for cheaper shipping options since it's just the one. LPN wants basically 50% of the cost of the rotor in additional shipping costs.

Might try RockAuto or something (even though I hate them). They charge $13 for ground shipping and the part is also cheaper, so much so that out the door, it's as much as just the rotor before tax at LPN. I probably should've tried LPN's price matching the last time around.

For front rotors, all IS250's are the same, RWD and AWD. For the IS200t/IS300/IS350 the F-Sport RWD's have different rotors than the AWD and non-F-Sport RWD's, however the AWD/non-F-Sport rotors will fit and work fine on an F-Sport RWD, likewise the F-Sport RWD rotors will also fit a non-F-Sport RWD. IS200t/IS300/IS350 F-Sport RWD rotors will not fit any AWD vehicles.

For front pads, there are IS250 with or without F-Sport package, and there are IS200t/IS300/IS350 with or without F-Sport package. The F-Sport pads are high friction, the non-F-Sport are low dust.

For the rears, it's easier, all IS250's are the same, all IS200t/IS300/IS350's are the same.

For people who like part numbers:

43512-30310 - IS250 Front Rotors (All Models; Qty: 2)
43512-30350 - IS200t/IS300/IS350 Front RH Rotor (All AWD Models, RWD Models without F-Sport Package)
43516-30040 - IS200t/IS300/IS350 Front LH Rotor (All AWD Models, RWD Models without F-Sport Package)
43512-22260 - IS200t/IS300/IS350 Front RH Rotor (RWD Models with F-Sport Package)
43516-22010 - IS200t/IS300/IS350 Front LH Rotor, (RWD Models with F-Sport Package)

04465-30480 - IS250 Front Pads (All AWD Models, RWD Models without F-Sport Package; NBK D6893H Compound)
04465-53040 - IS250 Front Pads (RWD Models with F-Sport Package; Textar T4146 Compound)
04465-30510 - IS200t/IS300/IS350 Front Pads (All AWD Models, RWD Models without F-Sport Package; Advics PV565H Compound)
04465-30500 - IS200t/IS300/IS350 Front Pads (RWD Models with F-Sport Package; Textar T4146 Compound)

42431-30300 - IS250 Rear Rotors (All Models; Qty: 2)
42431-30310 - IS200t/IS300/IS350 Rear Rotors (All Models; Qty: 2)

04466-30282 - IS250 Rear Pads (All Models; Akebono NS542 Compound)
04466-30312 - IS200t/IS300/IS350 Rear Pads (All Models; Akebono NS542 Compound)

Your car came with the same pads as a base model RWD or AWD car, so there's nothing special there. You only have one option for front rotors, and you only have one option for rear rotors and pads. If you wanted to you could go with the F-Sport high friction front brake pads, but it's not what your car came with from the factory.

Jeff
thanks Jeff for the info , just to confirm the 04465-30500 won’t be compatible with AWD is350 f sport ?

I was doing a bit of research and ended in the right place i think.
I am planning to replace my front brake discs and rotors on my 2016 IS 350 base AWD with EBC S5 brake kit. Whenever I want to order them all the parts have big warning that the car should be manufactured in Canada. My car is manufactured in Japan. Is there actually a significant enough difference between the Canadian vs Japan manufactured cars/brake parts?
Thank you in advance!

Jeff do you know by any chance what normal part numbers or Akebono part numbers would work for rear brake pads on a 2010 IS350C F-sport. I have been unable to find the F-sport parts anymore and cannot get Lexus or Toyota to provide me with an alternative.

The IS is manufactured in Japan only. Not sure what they mean by that.
