Can I raise this car?
Just bought an 06 is350 from auction. But the car is too low. I thought it had cut springs at first. In the front it has coil overs. The rear seems to have coil overs but not sure.
Front of car
Rear of car, can I raise the rear or do I have to get new set up. I'm new to suspension and the rear looks different and can't find something on youtube of how to raise it.

Before you start adjusting, clean the threads with a wet rag. Spray penetrating oil, let it marinate for a few minutes, then use toothbrush, brush off the dirt.
Do not use WD-40. Buy silicone lube spray.
Pressure spray them at the coin-op or at home when you wash the car.
Use a toothbrush to clean the threads before adjusting, followed by spraying them with silicone spray so it slides easier (threads, top mount, shaft, bottom mount, perches).
I wouldn't use anti-seize, it makes things gum up as it attracts dirt.
You need to have a coilover's spanner wrench. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, take your car to a local tuner shop. When finished, just apply light coat of silicone grease for protection.

If you can, wipe that sticker clean and post the picture here. Google the name and model number. I'm interested myself what are these coils.

I think You’ll need the locking wrenches to adjust the coilovers. But the good thing is that they are in fact adjustable.

These look like old Function and Form Type 2 coilovers, quite popular with Honda and Acura guys. Type 1 is for daily use while Type 2 is meant for racing applications. I just don't understand why the lower strut housing is missing on the rear. By looking at the discolored threads you can tell that there was a housing on it at some point...?
If they feel ok to drive and you want to keep them, buy the wrench or find someone who can help you raise the car.
Maybe try to contact manufacturer or find distributor? I would get in touch with the local tuner shop, I'm sure they will help you bring it back to your desired stance.

Thank you, i appreciate everything the car had big and small looking hook wrenches inside. I'll try it myself if it is to difficult I'll take it to a shop. Car drives fine just lower than I like for daily use.
