Haha, I did the same thing with my SF1 set. I lowered the coil overs off the car and when we got them in the car was LOW. I could barely drive it anywhere, since then i have raised the car two more times just to get it reasonable. There's now a 2 finger gap up front and a 1 finger gap in the back. This is on stock sized 16's.

You like harsher ride? Just twist the damping adjuster at the top of the shock 10 clicks clockwise and see what happens. How do you adjust the height from the bottom of the shock? I have the same setup and never knew that!

If youre looking for comfort, these are very smooth on the softest setting. It is a little stiffer than stock, but suprisingly very comfortable even for how low i have the car sitting. Ive gotten used to a stiff ride coming from a MR2 with full suspension work before my current car so this setup is surprisingly very comfortable to me. If anyone has ridden in a car with apexi world sport coilovers, they ride similarly. I tried to stiffen up the settings a little bit and take some corners, but the crappy tires I have on there dont have enough traction for grip driving. If you want to seriously take corners grip or drift style, you will obviously have to do more mods than just these coilovers.

actually, i do like a harsher ride than what the softest setting is. i currently have them set to 5 clicks clockwise up front and 7 clicks clockwise in the rear. what i meant from "adjusting the height from the bottom of the shock" was by adjusting the body of the shock itself. there are two areas of adjustment, the spring perch and the shock body. sorry if that originally came out incorrectly.

So where on shock body. I looked at mine and see nothing. Do I have to look fo something in particular?

I also have mine set at about 10 clicks front and 12 rear. My car is a lot heavier.

right there.... i can adjust the length of the coilover by turning the bottom of the shock tower. the red "lock" keeps it in place. hope that helped.

haha, no worries. what i did was before i put them on the car, i greased up the threaded part so it wont be AS hard to adjust if i wanted to play with the height when i get rims.

Thumbs up

Looks great Mr. JT, I used tri-flow lube on the adjustment ring. They were too hard to adjust without any lube. I have the SF-1's and now I want new rims so I can stagger them. Mo money, mo money
