Default RS-R Downs with 20mm H&R spacers

Alright, I know this has been discussed a thousand times...but the threads are SO long and mostly hijacked, phone keeps freezing up due to all of the pics imbedded.

Still a little unsure, I have a 2016 IS 350 F Sport (rwd). I just ordered 20mm H&R spacers all around...now naturally I want to put some down springs on it...thinking by popular demand RS R downs or half downs?

I’ve read everywhere, so many say it’s good to go no rubbing at all...others not so much. I’m as confused as ever now.

Can anyone with this exact setup please chime in with experience, recommendations and/or pics. Please only for this model, not AWD or non F Sport (assuming that makes a difference on drop level).

This car is a dd for the wife and Hawaii roads suck, so I’m looking to go modest but sporty OEM look.

Thanks much!

Yes RSR down will work without rubbing.

Let us know if we can get you a price shipped to Hawaii.

For the spacers, 20mm on the front will be fine.
Some have reported rubbing on the rear with 20mm spacers, and some were just fine.
I think it comes down to the individual vehicle build and the brand of tire being used.
For sure 15mm spacer on the rear won't be an issue regardless of build or tire.

Try the 20mm on the rear, you may be one of the ones that it is fine.

Thanks guys. I went with Swift after a lot of thought.

It appeared to be a good compromise between the RS-R downs and half downs and I was fortunate to find free shipping.

From what I’ve read there won’t be any issues with 20mm all around and Swifts?
