Coilover Pop
I have Tein Street Basis Zs on my GS400. I was driving yesterday and I was pulling out of my parking spot at a store and some lady decided it was a good idea to floor it right at me. So to avoid getting hit (mind you I’m halfway out of my parking space and there’s a curb next to me) I swerve to the right and my back right tire goes up this curb. I get hope pretty upset but when I get out of my car I start hearing a popping noise coming from my Coilovers and I have no idea what it could be??? Please help!

Nothing that I can see. Everything looks fine. It drives fine but there is a little bit of creaking now, but I didn’t hit the curb hard at all. It went over it with my rear right wheel probably at like 5mph, like going over a large speed bump. But it only makes this noise when I’m parked.

I've seen a few times on these cars that the sway bar end links are not tightened down well after a strut or coilover swap. The rear lower control arms have to be dropped to do the install which requires the endlinks being unbolted. check all the bolts and nuts and tighten as necessary.
